Students’ Voice on Instagram as Technology Assisted Learning: A Case Study at Senior High Students

Abstract


Technology in the world of education can be seen from various technological features used to access various information and learning materials. An overview of the spread of technology can be seen from various dimensions, both from a positive perspective and from a negative perspective. In connection with the use of technology, Instagram is one of the media that is much loved today. This study aims to investigate students' investigations of potential Instagram as a medium for learning that basically to the technology. Researchers use qualitative research methods. The population of the research was the Second-Grade students MIPA 1 of SMA 4 Barru which consisted of 27 students. The sample was drawn using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used were a questionnaire test and an interview. The result of the data analysis shows that the students' perspectives on the use of Instagram as one of the technology-based learning media have been effective.
